THE METRO : More than 14 lines, open from 5:30 to 2:00 on Saturdays and hollydays (stops at 1:00 during the week), the single ticket costs 1,40€. Week card or "Paris-Visite" card starting at 8,50€. Many other cards and suggestions.
THE RER : Ideal to move around rapidly in the whole region.
THE BUS : To see Paris while you move. A night service is also available : the Noctilien.
THE TRAMWAY : In addition to the metro and bus lines, the Parisian network also offers 3 tramway lines.
SNCF : With the TGV, the most rapid train in the world (574,8 km/h), organize your trip to visit France. Paris-Marseille in 3 hours, Paris-Lyon in less than 2 hours, Paris-Strasbourg in 2h 20mn… Chose your train station : Gare d'Austerlitz, de Lyon, de Bercy, de l'Est, du Nord, Montparnasse or Saint-Lazare. The train gives you access to the center of cities.
PARIS AIRPORTS : two airports around Paris :
- Roissy-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), 23 km North-East of Paris, it was the first French airport. It has 3 terminals and offers many ways to get to the center of Paris.
- The Orly Airport, situated 14 km South of Paris, it is the region's second airport.
30 mn to the center of Paris by RER.
