VERSAILLES : The Versailles Palace was the royal residence of Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI. It is situated in the West of Paris, in the town of Versailles, France. This palace has become the symbole of French royalty's splendor. The huge size was a reflexion of the different kings' image.

THE CHATEAU DE VINCENNES : Royal residence during the XIIth and XIIIth century, the Château de Vincennes kept its surrounding wall, medieval towers, and the XIVth century donjon, the Sainte-Chapelle and the XVIth century stained glass windows. Recent diggings excavated vestiges from the residence were Philippe Auguste and Saint Louis once stayed.

THE CHATEAU DE VAUX LE VICOMTE : Situated 50 km South-East of Paris, it is a baroque style castel from the XVIIth century. Nicolas Fouquet commisioned the best artists of the time to build his castel : the architect Louis le Vau, the painter Charles le Brun and the landscape gardener André Le Nôtre.
